Joe Parsons is President, North America Equity Holdings, for GE Real Estate with leadership responsibility for the Security Capital platform, Strategic Ventures and Leveraged Equity businesses.

Joe was previously President and CEO, GE Equity; and President and CEO, E-Business, GE Capital. He served as Vice President and Manager, Business Development, Office of the CEO.

His prior experience includes roles as Managing Director of Corporate Finance for the Southwestern U.S. at KPMG, Peat Marwick LLP; President and COO of Sovereign National Management; and Vice President, Business Development, of Merrill Lynch & Co.

Joe received his M.B.A. from the University of Arkansas in 1982, and his B.S. in Finance from the University of Connecticut in 1979.
